First Archive — a Note from Dave to Doc
Changes I made a few changes. I put the stuff you had on this page on the Clues page. At first I called it About this Site but I remembered this is the Cluetrain weblog, and decided to err on the side of arrogance. It seems consistent with your theme. I also put a few pictures on the Clues page. And put a picture of the book in the template for the site, so people reading any page on the site will just be one click from making your cash register ring. Tomorrow morning (it's Friday night right now) I'll click on the Flip Home Page button and start with a fresh home page. When I do that, this will be archived. People who want to trace back to the early days of this site will be able to read this message. Two things to do
My goal My goal is to get you up and running smoothly, and then step by step to integrate design expertise into this site. At first, let's keep it really simple. I want you to feel on solid ground before we start adding advanced features to the site. We're all newbies here, me too, I'm learning how to nurture one of these sites along. Dave Winer
